A quote from our Musical Director Jeff Steele
"The bands performance on the weekend was exceptional.
The audience & adjudicator thoroughly enjoyed Geelong West’s exciting repertoire, especially “Where Eagles Sing”. Congratulations to all members of the Geelong West Brass Band for their efforts leading up to the contest. Once again the bands concentration level stepped up on the day, and all pieces were performed extremely well.
Special congratulations to my sister Wendy Steele, on her brilliant performance of “The Piper O’Dundee”.
I look forward to preparing the band in the upcoming “Victorian State Championships”, held in Ballarat.
Congratulations again on the win. Well deserved."
